Ms Moyes has more than 14 years of experience in leadership, management, governance, legal and operational roles. She is currently chief operating officer at Montoux, a software-as-a-service company in the life insurance industry, and a member of the APEC Business Advisory Council.
Previously, Ms Moyes was the chief operating officer of 8i, a virtual reality technology company. She also has served as a senior advisor in strategic policy for the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment and a senior analyst for the New Zealand Treasury.
Ms Moyes received bachelor’s degrees in law and arts at University of Canterbury and a master’s degree in law from New York University School of Law.
Future Directors is an initiative of the Institute of Directors aimed at giving talented executives exposure to a company board for a 12 to 18 month period in order to develop governance experience. Future Directors attend board meetings to observe and participate in discussions, but they do not have voting rights.
